Select a topic and then plan to write about 5 paragraphs discussing the topic;

1st paragraph – Begin with a general statement about your topic and then list 3 points about the topic that you plan to talk about;

2nd para – Write 3-4 sentences about Point 1;

3rd para – Write 3-4 sentences about Point 2;

4th para – Write 3-4 sentences about Point 3; and,

5th para – Write a conclusion. Restate the main point of your article or a summary of all points.
